Mission Statement
Pour into Houston is committed to serving churches, low income families and communities, and homeless communities with mental health services and resources at low or not cost to the individual by Licensed Professional Counselors. Seeking to improve overall health and wellbeing in the lives of underserved Houstonians, with a goal of meeting each individual in their time of need.
About PiH
Pour into Houston provides counseling services and resources that strive to provide hope and a renewed sense of purpose to countless individuals, children, and adolescents as they navigate through the challenges of daily life. Our services are free to all members of our church partners and are offered to non members at a low tax deductible donation to PiH.
We work with various ministries serving Houston's homeless population, with a goal to help these individuals through the process of healing and restoring their sense of purpose to ultimately see their success and re-entry into a stable environment and working class.
Our diverse team of counselors and counselor interns cover a variety of specialties and diagnoses that can be taught through one on one counseling, group therapy, skills group, and psychoeducational workshops. Additionally, we offer a resource library of all our materials to church leaders to help them minister to the needs of their church congregation.
Our Counselors
Our Licensed Professional Counselors and LPC Interns are board licensed and stay up-to-date on various diagnoses and treatment styles through continued training and education. All LPC Interns have LPC Supervision overseeing them.
